My name is Sophia and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in MA. I completed my Master of Social Work with a complementary Trauma Certificate at Boston College. Throughout my career I have worked in a range of settings including community mental health, inpatient care, and schools at the elementary and middle school levels. I am also a licensed teacher with a passion for working with children and adolescents. With this said, I truly enjoy working with a diverse range of clients of all ages and backgrounds.

As humans, we are innately relational beings. Thus, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is paramount and integral to the process of therapy. The relationship we build together will set the foundation for the work.

We are all the experts of our own lives. Yet, there are times when we may lose sight of this and benefit from support in accessing our own inner wisdom. As a therapist, I hope to help you reconnect with yourself and access this sense of inner knowing. I aim to serve as a conduit to support you in reaching your goals.

My approach is warm, empathic, relational, and client centered. I aim to meet you where you are— wherever that is. Therapy is about you and this space is for you. Using a trauma informed lens, our work together will be tailored to fit your individual needs and goals. To support our work I may draw upon various modalities including but not limited to mindfulness, internal family systems, somatic, narrative, expressive, and play therapy.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, running, creating, and anything and everything music related.
