Sara Murphy, MA

Welcome, I'm so glad you're here. I am an empathetic compassionate clinician dedicated to supporting individuals and couples embarking on their healing journey. I have extensive experience working with complex trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, ADHD, self harm, survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence, survivors of narcissistic abuse, depression, and anxiety. I believe that there is no "one size fits all" to therapy so I create catered individualized treatment plans to meet each clients needs. It would be an honor to stand by your side through this journey of healing.

Trauma lives in the body, specifically the nervous system and It can impact us in ways we don't realize. I believe in understanding each client as a whole and work with clients to develop tools and coping skills to work through unprocessed trauma, unlearn negative core beliefs, and re-regulate the nervous system.

My approach is collaborative, transparent, and prioritizes cultural sensitivity. I utilize approaches such as, but not limited to CBT, (TF-CBT), DBT, and ACT, on a case by case basis dependent on each clients needs. I strive to provide a safe, empathetic, and non judgmental space, where we work as a team to achieve your goals. It's time to put YOU first.
