Rayne Allien, LMHC
Rayne (they/them) works with teens (14+) and adults (18+) and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, grief, and other significant life challenges and changes across the lifespan. Utilizing principles of feminist therapies, Rayne integrates knowledge of systemic disparities and their intersections to empower others to collaborate on treatment goals and expectations. Along with a feminist lens, Rayne incorporates aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), expressive therapies, and narrative therapy. Rayne graduated from Lesley Univeristy in May 2022 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. They have had experience working across the lifespan with an array of populations, including homeless families and youth, women of color, neurodivergent adults, and LGBTQIA+ adults. Aside from therapeutic tools, Rayne invites people to embrace therapy as a way of becoming curious of the world around us, the ways that life events have shaped us, and then empowering them to become active in the reshaping they wish to see.
