Margaret is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 11 years experience working in the mental health field since graduating with her Bachelors in 2012. Margaret has worked with a broad and wide range of individuals in the community, working as a case manager for individuals with schizophrenia, clinician assistant at a crisis center, community based family therapy clinician and outpatient clinician. She has experienced working with individuals with dysthymia, MDD, anxiety and PTSD. She utilizes a strength based, solution focused approach with components of trauma informed CBT and ACT. Margaret believes in providing an encouraging, positive and safe space to enhance the empowerment of those she works with. She is compassionate while maintaining a healthy sense of humor through the process. Margaret graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2020. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, exploring all life has to offer and dancing free form in her living room.
