Mandy Magalhaes, MSW

Mandy Magalhaes is a neurodivergent (ADHD) Mental Health Clinician with 5+ years working in the mental health field. Mandy specializes in working with clients with ADHD, and has completed the ADHD Clinical Services Provider training. She has helped those who have experienced anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, depression, mood, and adjustment disorders. She has worked with a diverse population impacted by trauma on the individual, family, and community levels. She utilizes a person-centered and strengths-based approach to provide Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and expressive arts for her clients.

Mandy enters the practice with the value of being fully present, welcoming, and honest with her clients. She strongly believes the client is the expert of their lives. Mandy has a strong focus and passion for exploring and promoting wellness of her clients, teams, and communities. She offers a nurturing and safe space to foster growth and healing. When she is not working with clients she can be found making messy art projects or getting lost in the outdoors.

Mandy graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Master of Social Work where she researched and advocated for self-care and wellness. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology as well as a Bachelors Degree in Women Gender Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
