Laura Packard, LICSW


Laura Packard is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a BA in Liberal Arts, concentrating in Psychology and English, and an MSW from Edinburgh University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on trauma. She has extensive experience working with individuals facing challenges such as bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, grief, LGBTQIA+ trauma, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, and postpartum depression.

A Massachusetts native, Laura has been involved in human services since the age of 18, starting her career in residential group homes. She is currently a practicing LICSW and remains dedicated to ongoing learning, incorporating evidence-based interventions to support her clients in navigating their personal wellness journeys.

Laura strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals struggling with past trauma, mental illness, or grief can develop the skills necessary for healing and growth. She views her clients as the experts in their own lives and approaches therapy with a strength-based, client-centered perspective, always validating and supporting their unique experiences.

Laura offers telehealth services to clients aged 12 to 50, with a focus on helping women navigate the unique challenges they face. Her therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices to promote emotional well-being and personal empowerment.
