Julianne O’Sullivan, LICSW


Julianne is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience providing individual therapy to a variety of patient populations.  Julianne uses a warm, humorous, and curious approach with her quirky personality in hopes of providing a relaxed and nonjudgmental environment for her clients. She enjoys helping clients who are struggling with anxiety, mood instability, depression and lack of motivation, trauma, acute stress, divorce and separation, and finding faith in a higher power. Julianne utilizes a psychoanalytic framework and strengths-based approach utilizing skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existential Therapy.  For clients who believe in the Christian faith and/or are looking to grow in this sector of faith, Julianne is for you!  She is committed to keeping her Christian clients foundationally aligned in their faith. Julianne provides Christian Therapy to clients who request such and utilizes a Christ-centered approach with application of Bible scriptures to some of life's biggest challenges and daily struggles.

Julianne graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus and minor in Child Development from West Virginia University in 2017.  She then earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Forensic Mental Health from Rhode Island College in 2019.  Prior to entering private practice, Julianne spent her post-graduate experience working with the Department of Corrections conducting clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of mental health disorders.
